It consists of intelligent measuring and controlling unit, zero-crossing triggered switch, protection unit and six cylindrical power capacitors which are divided into two groups. It changed the structure mode of traditional reactive power compensation device which was large and heavy. The new generation of low voltage reactive power compensation equipment have better compensation effect, smaller size, lower power consumption, cheaper price, more flexible use, more convenient maintenance, longer service life, better reliability and other features. The equipment could suit the higher requirements of the modern smart grid about the reactive power compensation.
